Description
The practice of speech-language pathology shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech-language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance provided as needed. Otherwise, a speech-language pathologist shall work independently without direct supervision.

Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree Conferred from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
Coursework/Training Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
Upon hire: New Mexico Speech Language Pathologist license - New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon hire: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
2 years Professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management.
Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from accredited program.
1 year Acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
