nSSM Health Rehabilitation Network is seeking PRN licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) to join our collaborative Regional Speech Department as a Float Speech-Language Pathologist .
nThis unique PRN position offers the opportunity to practice across multiple acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings throughout the greater St. Louis region while working alongside a highly skilled interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

n nResponsibilities
nnnEvaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
n
nnProvide evidence-based speech-language pathology services across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
n
nnAssess and treat swallowing, communication, voice, and cognitive-linguistic disorders.
n
nnDirect and supervise discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate.
n
nnDesign functional treatment programs to promote safe discharge and return to meaningful daily activities.
n
nnEducate patients, caregivers, students, and interdisciplinary team members.
n
nnCollaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
n
nnParticipate in quality improvement, program development, and continued professional growth activities.
n
n nQualifications
nRequired
nnnCurrent Missouri Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure.
n
nnCurrent ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
n
nnCurrent BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
n
nnAbility to travel between assigned locations within the SSM Health Rehabilitation Network.
n
n nPreferred
nnnMinimum of two years of experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation.
n
nnIndependent experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS/MBS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES).
n
