nnStart date: August 3 to May 28
n
n nSchool Speech Language Pathologist Duties & Responsibilities:
nnnProvide speech and language therapy services to support students' communication and learning needs.
n
nnAssess students' speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication abilities.
n
nnDevelop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and educational goals.
n
nnProvide therapy to improve communication skills, comprehension, articulation, and social communication.
n
nnSupport students with communication challenges that impact academic performance.
n
nnCollaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
n
nnMonitor and document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
n
nnParticipate in evaluations, student meetings, and individualized education planning.
n
nnProvide recommendations and strategies to support communication skills in the classroom environment.
n
nnEvaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs
n
nnProvide speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups
n
nnDevelop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
n
nnDocument student progress and maintain accurate records
n
nnCollaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
n
nnParticipate in IEP meetings and team conferences
n
nnSupport students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
n
nnFollow school policies and state regulations
n
n nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnAt least one year (12 months) of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
n
nnA valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association).
n
nnProficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
n
nnFor this year will accept a Bachelor Degree Clinician that is willing to work off a temporary teaching certificate NOT an SLPA license
