nThe Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Back to You Rehab provides top-tier, primarily in-person therapy across our locations, with occasional telehealth as clinically appropriate. Beyond direct patient care, this is a unique leadership opportunity: you will play a central role in building, standardizing, and expanding our SLP service line across the company while upholding our high standards for clinical excellence.

nKey Responsibilities

nClinical Care & Documentation

nConduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver evidence-based treatments for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

nDevelop individualized, measurable treatment plans and provide ongoing education to patients and their families.

nComplete accurate EMR documentation (Prompt), including SOAP notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries, by midnight on the day of service.

nGenerate and submit a Plan of Care (POC) with evaluations/progress notes, ensuring they are faxed to referring physicians for signature.

nCoordinate seamlessly with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, case managers, and attorneys.

nProgram Leadership & Practice Growth

nSpearhead the development and expansion of the SLP service line, establishing clinical guidelines, workflows, and best-practice protocols.

nActively support marketing and growth initiatives, building strong relationships with community partners and referral sources.

nIdentify new referral streams and assist with community outreach, social media, and educational content.

nMentor, train, and support the onboarding of future SLP staff to foster a culture of continuous learning.

nOperations & Compliance

nManage your treatment schedule, including adherence to clinic protocols for cancellations and no-show fees.

nMaintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.

nProvide unbiased, culturally sensitive, and highly professional care to all patients.

nRequired Qualifications

nEducation: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

nLicensure: Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license.

nExperience: Proven clinical experience with strong knowledge of targeted disorders and evidence-based treatments.

nSkills: Excellent communication, time-management, and tech proficiency (EMR systems, Google Workspace, telehealth platforms).
