Job Details:
Dates: Immediate need - end of school year
Elementary School caseload
Weekly hours: 32 hours per week
Start/end time: 7:30-4:30, Tuesday-Friday
Must have a CDE SSP SLP license.
Role Overview:
As an SLP, you will support students in school settings by assessing their communication needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing speech and language interventions to help them succeed academically and socially. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their communication, learning, and overall development.
Key Responsibilities: Assess students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
Deliver targeted speech-language therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic, communication, and developmental goals.
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique communication and learning needs.
Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on speech and language development, communication needs, and appropriate accommodations or modifications.
