School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Denver, CO
TactStaff EDU is hiring a full-time, onsite School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across K-12 grade levels in Denver, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school-based SLP or pediatric SLP looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting.
Active Colorado SLP licensure/authorization is required. This is an in-person position.

Location: Denver, Colorado
Setting: School-Based / K-12
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Work Setting: 100% Onsite / In Person
Employment: W2 Contract

Licensure: Active Colorado SLP license/authorization required
School SLP Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language services to K-12 students based on individual needs and IEP goals
Complete speech-language evaluations, screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring
Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans
Support students with articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social communication, pragmatic language, and communication disorders
Provide individual and small-group speech therapy services
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate with special education teachers, general education teachers, school psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, counselors, administrators, and families
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, evaluation reports, and service records
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on student performance and IEP goals
Provide consultation and recommendations to classroom staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations
Support students who use AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and other communication supports when applicable
Collaborate with families and school teams to promote functional communication across educational environments
Maintain compliance with school district, state, and special education requirements
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Colorado SLP license/authorization required
ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
Current professional credentials in good standing
Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
School-based SLP experience preferred but not required for qualified pediatric SLP candidates
Experience with IEPs, special education, evaluations, and school-based service delivery preferred
Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to work full-time onsite in a Denver-area school
Ability to work effectively with students across K-12 grade levels
