nJoin our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication, cognitive, swallowing, and voice disorders across the continuum of care. nWorking collaboratively with physicians, residents, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, you will deliver high-quality, person-centered care that promotes optimal functional outcomes and enhances quality of life.
nThe Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating and treating residents with communication, cognitive, swallowing, and voice disorders while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, supports positive clinical outcomes, and contributes to a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents and their families.

n nHow you will make an impact:
nnnProvide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, and voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and education across the continuum of care.
n
nnDevelop, implement, monitor, and modify individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and physician orders.
n
nnCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care.
n
nnMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and billing in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
n
nnEnsure compliance with Federal, State, payer, ASHA, and company standards.
n
nnEducate residents, families, caregivers, and staff to support therapeutic goals and positive outcomes.
n
nnDeliver holistic care that supports residents' physical, emotional, spiritual, and clinical well-being.
n
nnPromote resident independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life through personalized care plans.

n nWhat you will need:
nnnCurrent Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
n
nnCurrent CPR certification
n
nnMinimum of one (1) year of experience working with older adults preferred
n
nnStrong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
n
nnCommitment to providing exceptional customer service and resident-centered care
