Discover the Joy of Communication in Enchanting Aurora, Colorado – Become a Speech Language Pathologist with Us

Overview

What if your next professional chapter could amplify your purpose — quite literally? As a Speech Language Pathologist anchored in the heart of vibrant Aurora, your expertise will extend far beyond addressing speech and swallowing disorders. You'll unlock potential, foster confidence, and cultivate connections — from curious toddlers practicing their first sentences to seniors reclaiming their voices and independence.

This role provides a remarkable opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals of all ages in a setting that seamlessly fuses outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient support. Whether you're passionate about nurturing pediatric language, addressing adult neurogenic communication challenges, or guiding seniors through cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation, you will find fulfillment and adaptability in this position.

Description

Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using standardized evaluations and observational methods.

Create customized treatment plans that cater to specific short- and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing preferences.

Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions, focusing on aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.

Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to design cohesive care strategies.

Provide education for patients and families to promote progress beyond clinical sessions.

Conduct occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, assuring continuity in care throughout the treatment experience.

Ensure timely and accurate documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Remain informed about developments in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

Skills

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods suitable for all ages, with a solid understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Strong interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Capacity to adapt therapy techniques in a manner that respects diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Sound clinical judgment paired with effective problem-solving capabilities.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation standards.

Benefits

Attractive compensation aligned with experience.

Flexible scheduling that promotes work-life harmony and diverse caseloads.

Opportunities for specialization in pediatrics, adult neurorehabilitation, or geriatrics.

Paid time off (PTO) along with holiday pay.

Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage options.

Support for continuing education and professional development.

A collaborative, supportive environment that prioritizes quality care and lifelong learning.

A Career that Resonates with Purpose — and Moves You

In this role, you'll not only provide exceptional speech therapy — you'll become part of a community mission focused on restoring voices, enhancing communication, and creating moments of joy through essential human connections: understanding and being understood.

You will join forces with fellow clinicians who treat each other as family, in an atmosphere that champions collaboration rather than competition. Each patient bears a narrative; we trust you to help convey their story profoundly.

Let's Create Meaningful Dialogues — Together

If you perceive speech as more than merely sound and view therapy as more than just tasks — if you value fostering trust as the foundation for achieving goals, and recognize the power of laughter alongside language — then this could be the pivotal point in your career narrative.

Join us in a community that champions communication, forging connections and the bravery it takes to start anew. Apply now to lend your voice to our team — and assist others in rediscovering theirs.
