This contract opportunity offers immediate openings for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in education. Start as soon as possible and work through June 2027, serving a diverse and engaging student population.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Maryland SLP license (required)
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
Previous experience in school settings is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Willingness to work onsite and travel between local school sites if needed
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication support to students
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational goals
Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation in compliance with district protocols
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
Support students' progress, using evidence-based interventions and strategies
School Assignments & Schedules: Wilde Lake High School: 4 days/week (with goal of 5 days/week onsite)
Forest Ridge Elementary: 4 days/week (with goal of 5 days/week onsite)
Hammond Middle School: 3 days/week
