Job description

A rewarding opportunity awaits those passionate about supporting students in their communication development. This contract position offers the chance to provide speech-language pathology services in a school-based setting, working closely with a small, manageable caseload of 9 students near Berwick, ME. The assignment runs from ASAP through mid-December, with a commitment of 5 hours per week, making it an excellent fit for professionals seeking a flexible, part-time schedule.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Previous experience working with school-age populations preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to develop IEPs and monitor student progress effectively

Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and school environments

Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, individually and in groups, according to IEPs

Assess speech, language, and communication abilities

Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student goals

Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and IEP documentation

Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
