Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

HealthPro Heritage has a great part-time Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity near Boulder, CO.

Hours: 10-20 hours per week - flexible schedule

Compensation: $54-$58 per hour

Setting: Therapy program that provides skilled therapy services to the residents of the Independent living, Assisted living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing Community.

Additional Information: Beautiful facilities, including a high functioning outpatient clinic - Outpatient tends to be busier than SNF, but SNF is continuing to grow on the Long Term Care side

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.

Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible

Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).

Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
