Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Mountain View Care Center

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Mountain View Care Center, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and evaluating the communication and cognitive skills of our residents. Your expertise will help our residents regain communication skills, overcome cognitive challenges, and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication and cognitive deficits
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs
Provide speech and language therapy services, including articulation, language, and cognitive rehabilitation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and caregivers, to ensure comprehensive care
Document resident progress and communicate findings with family members and healthcare providers
Participate in staff education and training programs to stay current with best practices and evidence-based research
