Speech Language Pathologist - SLP / CCC-SLP

Perform thorough evaluations on patients spanning pediatric to geriatric demographics using both standardized tests and observational techniques.
Craft individualized treatment plans aimed at meeting both immediate goals and long-term communication or swallowing objectives.
Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions that hone in on communication skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
Work in tandem with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to implement cohesive care strategies.
Educate patients and their families to cultivate progress beyond the clinical setting.
Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to promote a seamless therapeutic journey.
Keep comprehensive and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.
Commit to continuous education and engagement with peers to stay knowledgeable about innovations in the field.
Earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained.
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Expertise in evidence-based approaches across the age spectrum, with comprehensive knowledge of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Adept at modifying therapy techniques to meet a variety of cultural and linguistic needs.
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
Comfort with electronic health records and documentation requirements.
