Position: Speech Language Pathologist - CCC & Hospital experience required
Location: 1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052
Schedule: Per Diem/PRN 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM weekdays and weekend needs
Compensation: $62/hr + Shift Differential

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) you will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient’s needs and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co‑workers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs.
Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize patient outcomes and return to community activities.
Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services, as well as available community resources.
Minimum Requirements
Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology from the American Speech‑Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
Certified BLS through American Heart Association required.
Preferred Experience
Two (2) years of experience.
Per Diem Requirement
Two (8 hour) shifts per month. At least one of those a weekend and one high‑need day (weekday, weekend, or holiday).
