Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
Flexibility, compassion, and a student-centered approach to therapy
Your Role and Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
Provide direct therapy services tailored to a variety of speech and language needs
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise in speech-language development
Consult with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy strategies within the learning environment
Communicate regularly with families to share progress and provide resources for continued development
