A hybrid per diem Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to support a young learner's communication development through the end of the school year. As a vital resource for a third-grade student at Building Connections Academy, you will deliver 60 minutes of therapy per week, with additional responsibilities for IEP preparation, attendance, and related support when needed. This specialized role is ideal for speech-language professionals seeking a manageable caseload and a meaningful connection with students and school staff.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
Current SLP-CCC credential
Eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
Experience with teletherapy platforms and hybrid service delivery preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, thorough, and adaptable to changing needs
Role Responsibilities: Provide direct therapy services (in-person and remotely) for a 3rd-grade student, expanding services as needed
Consult with academic teams and families to support the student's success
Attend and document IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements
Develop and implement targeted treatment plans, track progress, and update goals as appropriate
Offer professional recommendations and collaborate on interventions as part of a supportive education team
