The Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a speech language pathologist (SLP) to join our team! $5,000 Sign On Bonus!

Speech Language Pathologist Position Description: The Speech Pathologist is responsible for facilitating the recovery of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive function for the patients who come through our facility.
Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):
Current Speech Language Pathologist License in current state.
Current CPR certification.
At least 3 years of Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):
Creating, administering, and organizing individualized plans of treatment for patients.
Instructing clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading and voice improvement.
Educating patients and family members about various topics such as communication techniques and strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings.
Communicating with the dietary department regarding rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions.
