Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Department Lead / Supervisor - Therapeutic Day Program
n3319 N. Elston Ave. Chicago, IL | Clinic-Based | Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm - no evenings or weekends.
nCompensation & Benefits
nnTotal Compensation Package: Valued between $94,900-$103,000.
nAnnual Salary: $77,400–$83,000, based on experience and qualifications.
nAnnual Increases: Annual merit-based increases.

nAbout the Role
nEyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide speech therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
nAs a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Department Lead / Supervisor at Eyas Landing - Avondale, you will foster each child's speech, receptive and expressive language, feeding and swallowing needs.
nResponsibilities:
nnProviding individualized therapy and therapeutic rotations.
nImplementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
nCollaborating daily with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers.
nDocumenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.
nProviding mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to Speech Therapists to ensure consistency in care delivery and growth.
n nKnowledge and Skills Required:
nnMasters or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology
nActive Illinois Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license through IDFPR
nExperience providing behavior therapy services to children with autism and/or other neurodevelopmental differences
n nWorking Environment and Physical Demands:
nnAbility to lift at least 35 lbs, including but not limited to lifting children, therapy equipment etc.
nAbility to walk and/or run if needed to keep clients safe.
nAbility to implement behavior management techniques, based on training provided by the company.
nAbility to use hands and arms to prepare and perform required therapy tasks.
nAbility to utilize keyboard, desktop, and ipad to complete documentation required for funders.
