Job description
Make an impact supporting students' communication success in a dynamic school environment near Fayetteville, AR. This contract-based opportunity is designed for speech-language pathologists who are passionate about fostering growth and empowering learners at various stages of development.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain before starting
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to tailor interventions for both group and individual student needs
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess students with speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and ongoing needs
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
