Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide in-person services for special education students ages 3-22. Must be comfortable providing services in non-traditional settings (playground, lunch table, etc.) and adjusting delivery model to student needs. This position is all year round for the upcoming school year. Speech-Language Pathologist Position Details: Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Required Experience: School-based settings (preferred) Intensive supports / 1:1 environments Autism and complex developmental profiles AAC and mixed-mode communication (e.g., devices + sign + verbal) Strong cultural and functional fit for a high-intensity special education environment. Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications: Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Virginia Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain) Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include: Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals Providing push-in support in classrooms Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require speech/language therapy. Providing continued support for students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs). Maintaining appropriate records and documentation. Developing and implementing IEPs Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
