Job description
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and caring Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Gary, IN. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives while working in a collaborative and supportive educational setting.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language assessments and therapy for students with communication disorders.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and assessments.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student development plans.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure).
ASHA certification preferred.
Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
