Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:00) - 7 on/7 off Day schedule
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our inpatient team. The successful candidate will provide evaluations and treatments for patients with various conditions, including dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, and more. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in bedside swallow evaluations, Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS), and developing individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
Evaluate and treat patients with dysphagia and other swallowing disorders.
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders and treatment processes.
Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Valid Idaho SLP license and required certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, MBSImP, Vital Stim (all must be in hand at the time of submission).
Experience in acute care and adult rehabilitation is preferred.
Knowledge of charting systems, preferably Epic.
