Days and weekends, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
Job Description
As a Speech Language Pathologist in our inpatient rehabilitation program, you will work with patients to help them regain their communication and swallowing abilities following injuries or illnesses. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and evaluations of communication and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide therapy interventions focused on improving speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Educate patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
Experience with neuro patients is highly desirable.
