Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students requiring speech and language support! This position plays a central role in helping students achieve communication milestones and academic success. As a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive educational setting, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized interventions that make a tangible difference.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship year (CFY)

Valid or eligible state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Wisconsin

Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred

Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage a varied caseload

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting the diverse needs of students

Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy goals based on student needs

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services individually or in small groups

Maintain clear, accurate documentation and progress reports

Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize positive student outcomes

Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development

Engage in prevention, early intervention, and advocacy efforts within the school setting
