What you'll need to succeed:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Virginia SLP license or eligibility for licensure
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-based populations
Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments relevant to speech and language disorders
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on measurable student progress
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student support and success
Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to optimize student outcomes
