Job description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a supportive school community near Berlin, MD. With a structured schedule from August 24, 2026, through June 30, 2027, this position offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners from PreK3 through 3rd grade.
This role involves serving a manageable caseload of 40-50 students, all receiving speech-language services, alongside another collaborative SLP. The workday runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, ensuring great work-life balance while making daily connections with students who have mild to moderate disabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Maryland Department of Health Certification for SLP
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Experience with small group and 1:1 intervention settings
Familiarity with a variety of speech-language delays and disabilities
Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Your Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in both small group and one-on-one settings
Assess, document, and report student progress
Develop and maintain effective treatment goals in collaboration with the educational team
Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
Support students with a range of mild to moderate communication needs
