Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in both a K-6th elementary and a middle school setting for the full academic year. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your CCC credential, your expertise will support young learners' communication skills and unlock their greatest potential. This position provides an engaging mix of ages and stages, ensuring your workdays remain dynamic and impactful.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active SLP - CCC credential
Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
Strong team player who collaborates smoothly with educators, staff, and families
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students
Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress
Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting to individual student needs
Offer strategies and resources for teachers and families to maximize student success
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-based initiatives
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
Engage in professional development to stay current on best practices
