Job description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year as a dedicated Speech Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. You’ll work on a manageable caseload of approximately 15-20 students, serving a diverse range of ages from Pre-K through 12th grade. If flexibility is important to you, enjoy adaptable hours within typical school day schedules - school is in session from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, with elementary students dismissed a bit earlier.
Ideal candidates possess strong skills in school-based speech-language services, including assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families. Current SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or eligible SLPA professionals seeking hands-on experience in a supportive community are welcomed. SLPA applicants will primarily work with elementary students under the supervision of an experienced SLP, ensuring plenty of mentorship and teamwork.
Desired Qualifications
Valid licensure: SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (current in-person)
Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Compassionate, professional, and adaptable
Core Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver speech and language therapy services across Pre-K-12 students
Monitor and document progress towards IEP goals
Participate in team meetings and communicate student progress
For SLPA: work under direct SLP supervision, focusing primarily on elementary caseload
