Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active state SLP license or eligibility in Alabama
Open to applicants holding CCC-SLP or those in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Previous school-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong communication and organization skills
Commitment to evidence-based practice and culturally responsive support
Role Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services
Deliver therapy services in individual or group settings within the school environment
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational progress
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and session logs
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
Provide resources and strategies to staff and families to facilitate student success
