Job description
Step into an impactful role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving K-12 students through a contract position extending to May 2027. You'll make a difference helping students develop communication skills, supporting their academic and personal growth in a collaborative school setting. This opportunity offers a rewarding, stable schedule with 37.5 hours across five days each week, beginning as soon as possible.
Qualifications & Experience Were Looking For:
Active Texas SLP license (CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year)
Experience or training in school-based speech-language pathology (K-12 focus)
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities
Passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and needs
What Youll Be Doing:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, or communication delays and disorders
Develop effective, measurable treatment goals and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with teaching staff, special education teams, and families to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and provide timely progress updates
Adapt therapy approaches according to student response and ongoing evaluations
