Job description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in the Rockville, Maryland area. Multiple on-site positions are available for talented professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality speech therapy services in school settings.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state licensure to practice as an SLP in Maryland
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
School-based or pediatric experience highly valued
Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to work the full 35-hour week schedule
Role Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with communication disorders
Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress toward goals
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in a school environment
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Maintain timely and accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed
