Job description
Step into a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist and support student growth and communication development for the 2026/2027 school year! This contract opportunity offers a consistent 35-hour workweek near Greensboro, NC, within a collaborative school-based setting dedicated to fostering learning and inclusion.
You will have the chance to work with an enthusiastic student population, applying your specialized knowledge and clinical skills to help each child reach their full potential. Compensation ranges from $45 to $50 per hour, reflecting the value placed on your expertise and dedication. Your Role Will Include:
Conducting speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments across a diverse caseload
Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
Delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in groups
Documenting student progress and preparing thorough reports to support ongoing development
Serving as a resource to school teams by advocating for communication needs and contributing to academic success
Participating in IEP meetings and team planning to ensure comprehensive support for each child
Ideal Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Eligibility or possession of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
Current or eligibility for appropriate state licensure
Proficiency and genuine interest in school-based therapy, assessment tools, and IEP process
