Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year, supporting young learners from PreK to 5th grade. This full-time contract position is a vital role working with students who benefit from speech and language services, making a meaningful impact each day.
In this position, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to help students overcome communication barriers and reach their academic potential. Your expertise is key to fostering a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active or eligible for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligibility as a CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidate
Experience with school-based caseloads or pediatric populations is preferred
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for PreK to 5th grade students
Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP development, and student evaluations
Support inclusive classroom practices and provide resources to staff and families
