This rewarding contract position, running through late May 2027, focuses on delivering exceptional speech therapy services to students at the elementary level. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Active NC Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
Demonstrated experience in K-12 educational settings is highly valued
Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic interventions and thorough documentation practices
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite speech and language assessments, direct therapy, and consultative services to elementary students
Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with teachers and specialists
Support students' language, articulation, fluency, and social communication goals within the school context
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing student support initiatives
Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
