Job description
Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a dynamic school setting near Nampa, ID. This contract opportunity lets you make a meaningful impact supporting students as they build their communication skills, all while working alongside committed educational professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active SLP license in Idaho (or eligibility to obtain)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Previous school-based experience is highly valued, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by teachers or parents
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
Participate actively in IEP meetings, review progress and make recommendations for modifications as needed
