Job description
Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic school setting on a contract basis near Palm Springs, CA. This role offers you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ communication abilities while enjoying the support of a seasoned advisory network of professionals.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct in-depth evaluations of students with speech and language challenges
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at achieving meaningful speech and language milestones
Monitor progress and maintain thorough, accurate documentation for each student
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, holistic care
Involve families in the therapy process through education and engagement
Desired qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
State licensure or eligibility for licensure as required
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Capacity to work both independently and as an integral team member
Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for approval
