Job description
Make a meaningful difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in and around Pasadena, CA. This contract role offers the chance to work with diverse populations across several educational settings, including high schools, private schools, and non-public schools (NPS). You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow specialists to help students communicate confidently and achieve their goals.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
Experience with pediatric populations in educational, healthcare, or teletherapy settings
Ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently and compassionately
Familiarity with IEPs, documentation, and assessment tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and school teams
What You'll Do:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in high school, NPS, and private school environments
Execute therapy through both on-site and teletherapy models as required
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Consult and collaborate with educators, multidisciplinary teams, and families
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment to encourage student growth
This position features a contract structure and provides a competitive compensation range of $45-55 per hour, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
