Job description
Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication and learning needs in a school-based setting near Phenix City, AL. This contract opportunity is open to Speech-Language Pathologists with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) who are passionate about fostering student success.
Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Alabama SLP licensure or eligibility in process
CCC-SLP credential or availability to begin CFY with required supervision
Experience or strong interest in school-based practice
Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
In this role, you’ll:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
Conduct thorough assessments and interpret results for eligibility and treatment planning
Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with school policies
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development as needed
