Job description
Step into a fulfilling role supporting K-12 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the school year. This contract opportunity offers a 37.5-hour workweek, providing comprehensive services in a dynamic and inclusive educational environment. Essential Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
Valid state licensure as an SLP
Experience or interest in working with K-12 students
Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with suspected speech, language, and communication needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student goals
Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning with multidisciplinary teams
Serve as a resource to staff and families, offering guidance on communication development and strategies
Maintain compliance with all documentation and professional standards
