Job description
Step into an impactful school-based role as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a motivated group of middle and high school students. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work closely with a caseload of 25-30 students, primarily with moderate disabilities. The setting is collaborative and supportive, providing the chance to make a meaningful contribution to students communication growth and academic success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Maryland SLP licensure required
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
Experience with school-aged populations, particularly middle and high school students, preferred
Familiarity with IEP processes, goal development, and progress monitoring
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students with moderate disabilities
Assess students needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Monitor and document student progress toward communication goals
Provide guidance and resources to faculty and parents to foster student development
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based SLP services

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.00 to $55.00.
