Job description
Step into an exciting opportunity to support students as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist, providing critical services within a vibrant educational setting. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children ranging from PreK-3 through 6th grade who are experiencing mild to moderate disabilities. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, delivering assessments, therapy, and collaborative support alongside dedicated staff and families.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active SLP-CCC certification
Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
Prior experience in a K-12 or school-based setting preferred
Strong skills in planning, communication, and documentation
Passion for working with diverse learners and supporting their unique needs
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy in-person to students on your caseload
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progress
Maintain clear, timely records and document progress according to district and professional standards
Attend meetings such as IEPs to present findings and recommendations
