Job description
Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity in speech-language pathology, making a positive impact on young learners. As a Speech Language Pathologist, youll provide essential services to elementary students, dedicating your expertise to help them develop communication skills crucial for their academic and social success. This contract role embraces a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
Qualifications & Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure promptly
Experience with elementary-aged students in school settings preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Passion for supporting diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language assessments, therapy, and consultations for a mostly elementary caseload
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
Maintain detailed progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to support student growth
Adapt therapy techniques to meet various learning styles and needs
Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language services
