Job description
Make an impact supporting student communication and success as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment near Spring, TX. Work collaboratively within educational teams to help students overcome communication barriers, enhancing both their learning experiences and daily interactions. This dynamic role allows you to exercise your expertise in assessment, therapy, and intervention, all while contributing meaningfully to the school community.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current licensure as an SLP in the state of Texas
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates are welcome
Prior experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K-12) is highly desirable
Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
Organizational aptitude to manage caseloads, documentation, and deadlines effectively
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs
Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment strategies
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to maximize student progress
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
Provide training and support to school teams regarding speech-language interventions and communication strategies
