Job description
Exciting opportunities await school-based Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a long-term contract with a vibrant learning community. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a high school setting while working with a supportive interdisciplinary team. The role is ideally suited to professionals passionate about student growth and communication development. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, but this is not a requirement.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid SLP license issued by the state of Texas
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Experience working in a high school or pediatric setting is preferred
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous but not mandatory
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to a full-time high school caseload
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
Assess and document student progress, adapting strategies to meet diverse needs
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Participate in school teams and contribute to campus-wide communication initiatives
This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through early June 2027, providing stability and the opportunity to form lasting relationships within the school community.
