Job description
Make a meaningful difference every day serving students in an ASD setting as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the school year. This rewarding opportunity involves supporting a caseload of 40-55 students, providing essential speech and language services on-site in a collaborative school environment. With three positions available, you'll join a caring community dedicated to helping every student achieve communication milestones.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
Prior experience working in school settings, preferably with students on the autism spectrum
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Committed to collaborative work with educators, families, and fellow professionals
Your Role: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
Plan and deliver evidence-based therapy, tailored to students' unique profiles within an ASD classroom
Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate communication goals into daily instruction
Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
Actively participate in school meetings, professional development, and team problem-solving sessions
