Job description

This is a full-time position covering a maternity leave from August through December, serving an elementary caseload. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success in a supportive and dynamic school environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Maryland state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach
Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess students' speech, language, and communication skills
Develop and implement effective, data-driven therapy plans
Work with a diverse caseload of elementary students, addressing varied speech and language needs
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student growth
Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records
Deliver services both individually and in small groups as required by students' needs
