Job description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Worcester, MA. This full-time role is set to begin as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, providing a fulfilling chance to make a significant impact on students' communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
Ideal candidates will hold SLP-CCC credentials and demonstrate previous experience in a school-based setting. Your expertise will help guide students in reaching their speech and language milestones, enriching their academic lives and helping them build confidence.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid SLP-CCC certification is required
At least one year of relevant experience in a school or pediatric setting
Current state licensure as required
Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that support students' IEP goals
Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students from diverse backgrounds
Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations
Educate staff and families on effective communication strategies
Foster an inclusive and positive environment that encourages student growth
