Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact, working full-time (37.5 hours per week) with the flexibility to consider part-time candidates. The role begins August 31, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027.
Youll enjoy working in a collaborative environment dedicated to helping students develop their communication abilities and thrive academically and socially. All services are provided onsite, fostering a direct connection with students, staff, and families.
What Youll Bring:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
Active Michigan SLP licensure
Prior experience in a school-based setting, with a K-12 caseload
Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice
Ability to create tailored therapy plans addressing diverse student needs
SLP-CF applicants will not be considered at this time
Must be available for onsite services; virtual work is not an option
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop goals for students with speech/language needs
Deliver direct therapy to individuals and small groups
Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
Complete required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
Track student outcomes and adjust intervention strategies as needed
