Conduct assessments for patients in pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing established evaluation methods, including standardized tools and observational strategies.

Create individualized treatment blueprints aimed at achieving both immediate objectives and longer-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.

Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions that focus on various aspects of communication, including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions.

Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, family members, and caregivers to ensure a harmonious approach to patient care.

Educate patients and families to encourage continued progress outside of the clinical setting.

Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and interventions to guarantee seamless continuity of care.

Maintain detailed, timely documentation that complies with local, national, and organizational standards.

Engage in ongoing professional development through education and partnerships with peers to stay updated on industry advancements.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.

The Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly regarded.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-based intervention methods for a wide range of ages, demonstrating a thorough understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Strong interpersonal communication skills that facilitate effective interactions with patients, their families, and an interdisciplinary care team.

Adeptness at tailoring therapy approaches to cater to varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Sound clinical decision-making and analytical capabilities.

Proficient in electronic medical records systems and documentation requirements.

Competitive salary aligned with experience.

Flexible work arrangements that promote a healthy work-life balance while managing diverse patient caseloads.

Possibilities to focus on specializations such as pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
