Speech Language Pathologist / SLP

Ignite Lifelong Communication in the Vibrant City of North Las Vegas – Become Our Next Speech Language Pathologist

What if your next professional journey could empower voices and ignite dreams? Imagine being a Speech Language Pathologist in the flourishing community of North Las Vegas, where your expertise will elevate lives. You will do much more than treat communication and swallowing disorders; you will inspire growth, restore confidence, and forge deep connections. From the tiny voices of children as they express themselves for the first time to seniors reclaiming their speech and independence, your role is significant.

This position presents a distinctive opportunity to cater to varied individuals throughout their life journeys, all within a dynamic environment that balances outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient assistance. Whether your passion lies in nurturing children's language development, addressing adult neurogenic communication challenges, or aiding elderly individuals with cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation, you will discover both satisfaction and flexibility in your work.

Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric populations through a combination of standardized testing and observational methods.

Create individualized treatment plans that target both immediate aims and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.

Deliver personalized speech therapy, focusing on various aspects like communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.

Confer with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to formulate unified care strategies.

Provide education to patients and their families to support progress outside clinical settings.

Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions for speech therapy, ensuring seamless care throughout their recovery journey.

Keep thorough and timely documentation that aligns with all guidelines set forth at state, federal, and organizational levels.

Stay informed about the latest advancements in your field through continuous learning and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

If ASHA-certified, completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in applying evidence-based treatment methods for all age groups, with a thorough understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Ability to modify therapeutic techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and language backgrounds.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation requirements.

Attractive salary package based on experience.

Flexibility in scheduling to achieve a healthy work-life balance.

Specialization options in pediatrics, adult neurology, or geriatrics.

Paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.

Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Support for continuing education and professional advancement.

A cooperative, teamwork-oriented environment that values quality care and lifelong learning.

A Career Designed to Enrich Your Life

In this role, you'll not only implement speech therapy; you'll engage with a community-focused mission aimed at recovering voices, strengthening communication, and creating memorable moments grounded in understanding. You will collaborate alongside clinicians who consider one another as family, in a space that prioritizes partnership over competition. Each patient brings a unique story; we count on your skill to help narrate it authentically.

The Ideal Candidate We Seek

We're on the lookout for a Speech Language Pathologist with a heart that beats for empathy alongside measurable outcomes. Someone who sees the potential in a shy child and dreams of their self-expression, who perceives the effort behind every word uttered by someone recovering from an illness.

You might specialize in pediatrics and seek to broaden your expertise to include adult patients, or perhaps you focus on neurological rehabilitation and wish to embrace early intervention strategies in your methods.

Whichever path speaks to you, if you're fueled by passion and ready to approach your work with heart and skill, we're eager to have you join us.

Let's Share the Gift of Communication Together

If you perceive speech as more than mere sound, and view therapy as a path to connection rather than just a series of tasks—if you understand the importance of trust-building prior to setting goals and value laughter alongside language, this opportunity could be the transformative chapter in your professional journey.

Join us in a collaborative community that honors the essence of communication, connection, and the bravery it takes to journey forward. Apply today and help others reclaim their voices by bringing your unique gifts to our dedicated team.
